Training delivered to your desktop via live webinar technology"Hardware-Independent Imaging" (HII) is one of the more recent technology phrases linked to software cloning/imaging, migration and deployment. Binary Research was there first (in so many ways with the development of Ghost, the exclusive, worldwide distribution of the Universal Imaging Utility, Ghost training...). We lead the way in the Hardware-Independent Imaging space. Drawing on that expertise, this Training Series is designed for the IT Professional seeking to learn to do HII for themselves. The sessions provide the opportunity to see and learn to use the best three toolsets in action - all working towards the creation of HI Image files - Symantec Ghost Solution Suite and DeployAnywhere), Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (and Windows 7) and the Universal Imaging Utility. | Join Steve Dodson and Chuck Nailen for this series of three, hands-on training presentations. |

Session One:Virtualization and the Master Machine This Session introduces virtualization and the virtualization product (Hyper-V). We provide several basic operations for using Hyper-V to work with virtual machines. Participants install Hyper-V, create several virtual machines and install Windows Server 2008 onto one of the virtual machines. Then we cover how to build a single computer the right way to create the master Image able to be deployed to all other Windows computers. It describes how to prepare both Windows XP and Windows 7 virtual machines in the best possible way for imaging and uses Ghost Solution Suite to create an Image of the master machine.
| This Training Series is designed for Network and System Administrators, network professionals and consultants tasked with the installation, configuration, operational management and disaster recovery of Windows operating systems and Images within corporate, government or academic environments.
