Annette Dow

A New Zealander, Annette "happened" into the computer industry. Her pre-IT industry background included Probation Officer, Lecturer in Business development &  Entrepreneurship, Lecturer on a Masters Business Management program and running her own company focused on development of training programs and assessment & development of senior business managers. Then came "Ghost" ...and America... and Binary.

These days Annette “commutes” between the UK and the USA offices. She focuses on worldwide management and development of the two operations She also conducts Lectures in Australasia advising developers on the intricacies of getting into the USA market, while seeking out potential products for distribution.

  Geoff McIntosh

Geoff has worked all facets of the Computer Industry for 37 years, from Operations, Systems Programming, through Tech-writing, Training and Management. Originally based in New Zealand, he became involved with Ghost in it's first year on the market, writing the first Users manual. He moved to the States to assist with the worldwide Distribution network, setting up BRI in Milwaukee in 1997 to manage the worldwide marketing and technical support teams.

With the sale of Ghost to Symantec in 1998, Geoff and Annette purchased the US, Binary operation. Since then, Geoff has established the European office of the company and with Annette, they lead the company as it continues to bring innovative IT products and services to the international market.

         
E. Ryan Akers III - Vice President of Sales  
Ryan Akers

Ryan has been with Binary Research since 2003 as its VP of Sales. He is responsible for all of North America and is Product Manager for the Universal Imaging Utility (UIU).

Ryan brings a broad range of sales, sales management, marketing and software product management experience to BRI. Prior to joining Binary, Ryan worked for ARI Network Services, Inc. as Director of Marketing and Software Development. Ryan was also a principal owner of Peritus Group, an IT Consulting firm in Milwaukee. He also worked for Innovative Software Ltd. in all areas of sales for the company to ultimately become Vice President and General Manager, overseeing all North American operations. Ryan earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Wisconsin.

Julie Darcy

Julie joined the BRI team in April of 2000 selling the Symantec product Line and Liquid Media. Her history of being a "Million Dollar" sales rep makes her a great fit to lead the Channel Sales division. She is charged with bringing new partners on board to resell our software and training services. It is her responsibility to ensure our partners have the education and tools they need to be successful.

  Steve Dodson

Steve has more than 20 years experience in technology and IT Systems analysis. In the early years of his career Steve served as an IT Auditor, Systems Engineer, IT Network Operations manager and Project Manger. More recently he was a Senior Consultant for a niche business process management organization and worked on more than 30 projects focused on business continuity and disaster recovery.  And just prior to joining Binary he was a technology Business Analyst with a large gas and electricity utility company. Steve is based in Auckland, New Zealand.

Kim Hanson

Kim started with BRI in 2006 after moving to Milwaukee from Michigan where she had been an Accountant/Self-employed for 20 years. She has degrees in Computer Science and Accounting. Kim comments that she is excited to be part of the Binary team in a position which enables her to use her past experience and knowledge to help the company to achieve ongoing success.

  Hector Fabian

Hector joined BRI in February 2006 to generate more sales for the UIU software. Now, as Corporate Account Manager, Hector handles all of the corporate market and sells all the product offerings within Binary's products portfolio - including training services. He also leads the company's efforts in Latin America. His unique expertise lies with cultivating key relationships with corporate accounts and securing new business.

Herman Forster

Herman has been with Binary since July 2003. His software sales career began in early 1997 selling Ghost software. He is now the Academic and Non-Profit Account Manager for all the BRI product and service offerings. Averaging over 1 million dollars in sales each and every year of his career, Herman comments "Happy Customers and the excitement of closing a sale motivates me still - even after all these years."

  Joseph Knapp

Starting with BRI in November 2000 to sell Ghost, Joseph is now the Government Account Manager for all BRI's product offerings. Prior to moving to Binary, Joseph worked with the (then) Master Distributor for Ghost. He has now been selling Ghost for over 12 years. He also enjoys "dabbling" with technical support, putting his technical knowlegde to good use to assist his Customers to understand and make best use of the products he sells to them.

Dan McCarthy

Dan is the newest member of the Binary team starting in February of 2010. Dan was hired as the Assistant to the Administration and Sales teams. He brings high energy and a great work ethic to the workplace. Dan is a Junior at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a double major in Marketing and Human Resources with an emphasis on IT. He is very excited to "jump into the business world".

  Casey Johnson

Casey has more than 15 years experience in technology. He served as a Systems Administrator for an HMO, and most recently spent 10 years as a Technical Trainer and Training Manager with Symantec. He specializes in the Ghost Solution Suite, Backup Exec, Altiris and Enterprise Vault. He has a Master's Degree and a background in aviation, and would be happy to talk flying any time. Casey is based in Boston.

Katie Knapp

Katie is one of the newest members of the Binary team. Joining us in June 2007 as an Assistant to the Administration and Accounting team, Katie has expanded her duties to include co-ordination of our training services.  Katie is currently a student at UW Milwaukee with a focus on American Sign Language.  

  Chuck Nailen
Chuck has been working in the Information Technology field for almost 20 years. He worked at a Help Desk for 5 years, was a programmer for 4 years and has over 10 years experience as a College Instructor and Trainer. Chuck has taught at various colleges in South-eastern Wisconsin and spent two years as a Trainer at a Microsoft IT Academy before joining Binary as a Ghost Trainer in July 2007. He has also been instrumental in the development of our Vista and Hardware Independent Imaging training programs.

Monte Monteleagre

In addition to being part of the Binary training and consulting team, Monte is President of EGiS Technologies Inc. EGiS provides managed services to small and medium sized businesses in the Midwest. With 20+ years experience as a Trainer and hands-on IT professional, he also provides support services as required. Monte is an MSCE and has a strong understanding of networks and security. Any company looking to deploy desktops within an existing environment will benefit from Monte's practical knowledge and project management skills.

  Mark Wilkins

Mark has worked as a Systems Analyst since 1987. He has provided systems analysis, technical support and deployment services to many corporations and Fortune 100/500 companies across Canada and USA. He has designed and deployed over 100 networks using a range of OS. His technical documentation skills have seen him preparing network and software manuals and also writing numerous IT courses for the likes of Global Knowledge.  And, he is a highly skilled IT Trainer who carries a range of IT certifications.

Mark is based in Canada.
